Reasonably clean, spacious hotel with private parking onsite. Fabulously helpful staff, easy check in. Location adjacent to both train and tram station and which is walking distance to the CBD. Great to have a signature restaurant which was nothing special for breakfast and dinner. Real good stay, as always.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the The Old Town Cottonwood Main Street with everything within walking distance. The rooms were beautifully decorated and amazingly clean. The hotel facilities, including the outdoor patio space, were fantastic for family gatherings and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being close to great restaurants and a favorite tasting room made our stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing could have been better.

It was convenient for shopping and the MCG
The breakfast room is not as good as the larger room it used to be in and the breakfast offerings could have been better.

close to the city but away from the hustle and bustle
bed too soft; pillows far too soft; no oxygen in the room; fridge too small, no freezer; no fresh simple meal and snack alternatives; breakfast order was wrong.

I love the decor. The building looks very grandure and luxurious. I love how its not in the centre of the city. That its nicely tucked away and very private.
Everything was fine. Maybe have more spa suites.

Staff are not professional not communicate at all. They should haave told me that will deduct 100 for deposit. More friendly as I left my painting in my room after check out, n called them to keep it n will take back tomorrow, but the staff being rude n say "painting? Wat painting?" And don't even check at the back room only when I ask them to. Staying in a luxury hotel with unfriendly staff , such a waste of money

It was very quiet,
not that easy to get too for a luxury place.

The professional staff and room being cleaned up while out for dinner, was a pleasant suprise. Layout of the room and quietness. Early check out form. Restaurant and bar facilities. Late check out time of 11a.M.
In special requests at time of bookig on line I asked for a room with a view but understand that is not always available. With that request I wrote that it was our 37 yr wedding anniversary. Other hotels I have stayed at some have had a congratulatory message on the T.V., others have had a card or small chocolates or even an upgrade which would have made made us feel special. As we booked for dinner at the restaurant even a complimentary coffee to recognise our occasion. As a general comment because we live in Melbourne and when we book into Melbourne hotels I get an impression that we become secondary to international guests but that's me I suppose. Valet parking I thought was abit expensive.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the spacious King Room, and the surprise bottle of sparkling wine. The spa and health club were fantastic, and the indoor pool was a nice touch too.
